Szechuan Style Chicken

A traditional spicy soy flavored sauce tops succulent chicken and fresh-cut vegetables, all on a bed of steamed white rice. Our Szechuan Style Chicken gives your meal a spicy kick. Includes steamable rice pouch.

Cooking Instructions

Keep frozen until use. Cook thoroughly.
Remove sauce packet; thaw in warm water.

STOVETOP (recommended):

To Cook Chicken and Vegetables:

  1. Heat 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil in a skillet over high heat.
  2. Immediately add chicken and stir-fry 2½ to 3 minutes.
  3. Add vegetables and heat for 3 to 4 minutes, or until heated through.
  4. Turn off heat, add sauce and stir 30 seconds.

To Cook Rice: Do not cut, puncture or open steamable pouch.

  1. Microwave rice pouch, seam side up, on high 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Let stand 1 minute.
  3. Open pouch with caution. Steam will be hot.
  4. Serve with chicken and vegetables.

    Or,

  1. Empty rice into a skillet on stovetop.
  2. Add 1 Tbsp. water, cover and cook over medium-high heat 3 to 4 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Serve immediately with chicken and vegetables.

MICROWAVE (not recommended):

Do not cook in container. Only rice pouch is microwaveable. Do not place any other packaging in microwave.

Remove sauce packet; thaw in warm water.

To Cook Chicken and Vegetables:

  1. Empty chicken and vegetables into a microwave-safe dish and cover.
  2. Heat on high for 4 to 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in sauce. Heat uncovered, on high 30 seconds.
  4. Let stand 1 minute.

To Cook Rice: Do not cut, puncture or open steamable pouch.

  1. Microwave rice pouch, seam side up, on high 2 to 3 minutes
  2. Let stand 1 minute.
  3. Open pouch with caution. Steam will be hot.
  4. Serve with chicken and vegetables.

Cooking times may vary. Adjustments may be necessary to heat thoroughly.
